Aniimo

Twine

Twine is the system that lets a Pathfinder become a collected Aniimo. Steam and the Pawprint launch letter describe it the same way: you merge with a creature you already caught, then spend that Aniimo's skills on combat, puzzles, gliding, diving, and burrowing instead of standing aside and issuing orders. The official YouTube video on Twine is the first-party demonstration of that camera and body swap. If you only remember one field rule, remember this: catching fills the Aniilog, and Twine is how those pages become your movement and your kit.

Become the creature you already caught

Steam's about text says you can Twine with Aniimo and essentially become any Aniimo that you collect. That sentence is the whole design. The Pathfinder does not rent a summon. After the Aniipod succeeds, the collected body is a form you can enter. FunPlus feature copy matches the store: Twine is listed with catching, Idyll exploration, and Homeland as a named pillar, not a hidden modifier.

The Pawprint launch letter repeats the same verb, become, when it talks about walking Idyll as the creatures you bonded with. That is why this page sits first in the archive navigation. Combat numbers, puzzle solutions, and traversal routes all change with the Aniimo you currently occupy. A flyer, a diver, and a burrower are not cosmetics on the same human body.

Helion and Lunara are the first companions named on Steam achievements. The achievement First Companion asks you to team up with Helion or Lunara, which is the live game's way of pointing new Pathfinders at a starting pair before the rest of the Aniilog. Those two still appear in the official index as holy DPS Lumin records.

Combat, puzzles, and the three travel verbs

The store lists three jobs for Twine skills: solve puzzles, win battles, and overcome challenges. It then names the travel verbs separately: gliding, diving, and burrowing, with the claim that you can step foot anywhere. Read those as one kit. A puzzle that needs a burrow, a fight that needs a breaker, and a cliff that needs a glide are all asking which collected Aniimo you are wearing.

Nothing in the public formula page assigns a Twine multiplier. Catch chance is an Aniipod problem. Twine is a post-catch problem. Keep them apart when you plan a route: throw with the Catching page open, then swap forms with this page in mind. The official Twine video is useful here because it shows the camera sitting inside the creature rather than above a trainer model.

Most Aniimo can evolve, which means the form you Twine into is not frozen at the moment of the catch. Evolution, Prismana Form picks, and later Aniilog badges all sit on top of the same become rule. No public page publishes a hidden Twine cooldown or a class lock.

Field order: catch, record, then Twine

A practical order on Idyll is catch, confirm the Aniilog row, then Twine. Wild Aniimo still have to enter an Aniipod first. Unique spawns still follow environment, weather, phenomena, and time of day. Twine does not replace those gates. It starts after the ball closes.

If you are stuck on a traversal gap, the question is which collected form has the named verb you need, not whether the Pathfinder's human jump height changed in a patch. If you are stuck on a puzzle, look at the skills of the Aniimo already in your index rather than at a generic interact prompt. The Steam copy is explicit that the creature's skills do that work.

Egg Heist, Homeland, and the sky-floating metropolis all assume you already understand Twine. Lost Isles PVEVP still uses collected Aniimo. Homeland decorating still uses the creatures you bring home. Ranked Pathfinder challenges on the achievement list sit on the same roster. Treat Twine as the default stance of the live client, not a late-game unlock the stores forgot to date.

Helion, Lunara, and why Emberpup is NO.001

Emberpup is NO.001 in the official index and is named in the Pawprint launch letter, so the archive treats that fire Lumin DPS as the accession mark of the live catalog. Helion and Lunara are the achievement starters, not the index's first two numbers. Their wikiItemId values are 10002967 and 10003029, with holy / DPS / Lumin on both rows.

That split matters when a guide tells you to 'start with the first Aniimo.' First in the Aniilog is Emberpup. First companion on Steam is Helion or Lunara. Both statements are official. They answer different questions. Use the Aniilog filter if you need the numbered folio; use this page if you need the become rule.

The Japanese product name アニモ and the official term リンク for Twine are first-party localizations. They do not change the English live client verbs. This English page keeps Twine, Pathfinder, and Aniilog in the forms Steam and wiki.aniimo.com print for the US store.

What the official Twine video is for

The Aniimo YouTube channel published a dedicated Twine video. This page embeds that first-party clip rather than a fan edit. Watch it for the body-swap camera and for the way a collected Aniimo occupies the field. Do not treat it as a hidden stat sheet. It does not replace Probability Details.

If the facade has not loaded a player yet, the thumbnail is the standard YouTube still for that video id. Clicking it creates the privacy-enhanced iframe. No third-party player script runs until that click, which is why the trailer and the Twine clip both use the same facade.

After the video, the next useful page is Catching if you still need Aniipods, or the Aniilog if you want to see which official records exist to Twine into. Platforms can wait until you are choosing a store. Homeland and Egg Heist assume the become rule is already sitting in your hands.

Frequently asked questions

Does Twine work on an Aniimo I have not caught yet?

No. Steam says you Twine with Aniimo you collect. The wild throw still uses an Aniipod, a trap, or a Cube. Twine starts after the catch is already in the index. If a target cannot be captured, such as a Common Omega, there is no collected body to become.

Is Twine the same as evolving or picking a Prismana Form?

No. Evolution and Prismana Form change which collected body you have. Twine is the act of becoming that body for combat, puzzles, and traversal. Grade I Wayfarer can pick one Prismana Form Aniimo as a launch reward; that pick still has to be Twined like any other collected record.

Does Twine replace catching on Idyll?

No. Wild Aniimo still enter an Aniipod first. Weather, biome, phenomena, and clock still gate which creatures appear. Twine starts after a collected body is already in the index, then that body does combat, puzzles, gliding, diving, and burrowing.
